What is it?

 

WASBAR is a laundromat in Antwerpen and Gent. But regular ones. At WASBAR you can meet with your friends, and with a nice cup of coffee or a fresh beer you can comfortably let the machine wash your clothes. From behind your table you can keep an eye on your laundry. Once it’s time to fold your clothes you have the opportunity to  retreat to the folding chamber, because not everyone has to know the size and the colour of you ”unmentionables”. 

 

Why is it cool?

At WASBAR you don’t have to go through the boring routine of washing your clothes, waiting till it is done, then after waiting putting it in the dry cleaner and eventually folding your clothes and al that  in a uninvited laundromat with fluorescent lamps. At WASBAR you can combine your social life with your household chores.

 

Why has it future growth potential?

WASBAR has future growth potential because nowadays people have less free time because they are busier. At was bar you can enjoy your free time while at the same time doing you laundry with some friends. Doing laundry is by most people considered as boring and they don’t like to do it. But if you wash your clothes at WASBAR doing your laundry will be a nicer experience.

With your head in the clouds

What is it?

Have you ever slept high in the air? Well now you get the chance to. In Harlingen located on the ”’Waddenzee”. There’s a harbour crane with at the top a two persons bedroom. Harlingen Harbour Crane was used until 1996 to resolve Cargo timber from Scandinavia and Russia Nowadays. “The Spider” as the crane in Harlingen is affectionately known is converted into a unique overnight stay for 2 people.

 

Why is it cool?

Firstly you have an incredible view at the Wadden Sea. Through a newly installed elevator you’ll be dropped on the landing between the legs of the crane. From there you walk to the second elevator that takes you to the former machine house where a specially designed bed from Charles Eames and comfort of a 2 persons shower provide a luxurious sense of comfort. Here the height of the tower come along with the freedom of living on water. And there is something incredible : You can turn the crane al by yourself so you can enjoy different views! There is also a large roof terrace.

 

why has it future growth potential?

The crane hotel has future growth potential because it’s a unique experience with a lovely view and a luxe bedroom. Nowadays we also want to do thing ourselves so we can experience stuff more intense and in this bedroom you can turn the cabin in every direction. Here you can relax and enjoy a unique experience.

Books&Bubbles

What is it?

Books&Bubbles is a bookstore in the Jan Pieter Heijestraat in Amsterdam, but it is not just a common bookstore. In the shop they mostly sell used books and organize all kinds of events, such as  conversation dinners, workshops, author evenings, book clubs and bubbles tastings.The traditional bookstore is only a distant memory once you step inside Books & Bubbles. New purchases can be devoured in the cozy alcoves with cute antique lamps while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea.  The bubbles are only served in the evenings during the bubble tastings, workshops and literary dinners are organized. Books & Bubbles celebrates literature!

Why is it cool?

Books&Bubbles differ from regular book stores. It’s not only a place where you come to read a good book, but also to participate in workshops and to go to author evenings. Plus you can also join a book club and enjoy a delicious glass of champagne during the bubbles tastings in the evening. These events are also an excellent opportunity to expand your network and getting to know new people. It’s a really nice place to visit because the store is cozy furnished and once your inside you get a real living room experience while enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea.

What is it?

C-taste is a restaurant situated in Amsterdam. It is not just a restaurant, but a restaurant where you can dine in the dark. You only know how dark dark is, if you have been at C-taste. A particularly aspect of c-taste is that you are served by people who are real experts in the dark.., by people who really are blind or visually impaired. C-taste provides a special experience and helps to provide full en paid jobs for people who are visually impaired or totally blind. Now C-taste has hired 11 visually impaired experts that now have paid jobs instead of a benefit.

 

Why is it cool?

The adventure begins in a lighted lounge, where everything is  calmly explained first while sipping an aperitif. The menu is always a surprise to acquire a unprejudiced taste. They will take your preferences into account. After the experience you will go back into the lighted lounge and here they reveal what has been eaten and drunk. The international dishes are prepared with fresh products. The dark creates a completely different taste experience and brings the conversation really going. Enjoying good food and drinks without being able to see, that is an experience that will bring you evening in another dimension!

 

 

Why does it has future growth potential?

We all have so often been in various restaurants with beautifully presented plates that now we are ready for something different. It’s is a completely new and exiting experience because you don’t know what you are going to eat and you can fully focus on your senses. Sleeping in a bubble

What is it?

Recently you can sleep in a bubble in Erezée  situated in Belgium. It is somewhat reminiscent of a tent but much more luxurious. So it is a transparent bubble that is furnished as a bedroom. The bubble is surrounded by trees in the ardennes. There is only one ”tent” like this. The bubble has room for two persons. It will be a A stay of 1 day will cost you 209 euros.

Why is it cool?

Do i really need to explain? It obvious why the bubble is cool. This air bubble is the largest that has ever been produced. You really experience a sense of space! Especially for people who are looking for an extraordinary experience and likes to sleep under the stars. It will be a different camping experience that’s one thing that you can be sure of.

Robust, romantic and luxury are the three key words.

 Nowadays many people live a busy life in a busy environment. Work, school, kids maybe and your social life require a lot of energy and attention from you.
